The Hungry Ear & Rudimentary Records are delighted to be invovled in this years CQAF and even more delighted to be playing host to one of the finest beat makers around. This May B.Y.O down to the
Barge on the Lagan river to savour some serious
Beat music.

Think Teebs, Shlohmo, a pinch of Flying lotus and a dash of Bonobo, and you might get the idea of how Shigeto cooks up his own interpretation of how Jazz spoons Hip Hop… ah!, all warm a cosy this isn’t it?!

The Barge should add some extra warmth as we can only allow 100 guest on board making this a little more intimate, a perfect gearing up session for what promises to be a solid weekend of craic.

“healthy dose of drum foolery and toying
with machines…”

Shigeto will be performing live (which involves a healthy dose of drum foolery and toying with machines), with some tunes from the Hungry Ear regulars and perhaps a support act which we might add to the bill shortly.

Also joining us on the night will be Belfast’s own beatsmith Sina. How has just emerged from the shadows with a debut Ep on Mooncircle project (Berlin based label), which boosts remixes from Kelpe and Soosh. He has also featured on their limited edition 10th anniversary box set.  Sina. has made a huge impression since is first upload to Soundcloud and has continued to to impress collecting thousands of online fans!
